Grandkat (aka my mum) sent us an aerating water fountain for the Sisters of Terror. They are ambivalent but intrigued.
I have this same fountain for my kitties (ours is red). Whenever it Doesn’t Have Enough Water as Determined by His Royal Highness Pygmalion, he will lead one of us, noisily, into the kitchen and just stare at it until it is “fixed.” He also gets very excited during this process, because he likes to stick his nose in the hole and act surprised every time the water bubbles up and hits him in the face. Then he paws at it for a second, flicks his paw like he is offended that it’s wet, and walks away without taking a drink.
