SteveTony Gym AU:

Steve is a vet, recently back to the civilian life. He has a hard time finding his purpose in life now that his tour is over, especially because he can’t shake all the things he went through and he can’t forget all the people he lost.

Tony is famous and stressed. He hasn’t recovered yet from the traumatic experience of the kidnapping in Afghanistan. He’s looking for some quiet between paparazzi harassing him, the public waiting for him to snap, and moving his company from arms dealing to clean energy.

They both find that exhausting themselves at the gym helps keep the ghosts at bay.

Steve has no idea who the handsome fella who always shows up at the weirdest hours is, but he’d be really grateful if he could stop flirting so obscenely with him, thank you very much.

The Maria Stark foundation is raising money for vets. Faithful meetings happen during a gala. Turns out there’s more than meet the eye, and happiness can be found even in the oddest places.

Some inuit mermaids chilling talking about girl stuff, like strangling a man in the water as he drowns.
I don’t know if spotted seals and ribbon seals ever hang out but today they do.

“Tumblr artists are taking the original mythological mermaid characteristics and twisting them, to create a matriarchal society of monsters that more closely resemble real sea creatures than the clamshell-wearing supermodelswe’re used to. This also allows artists to play with different body types than the traditionally slim and white mermaid ideal. If mermaids can resemble sharks or seals or anglerfish, then they can certainly be different races or body types.” …http://ift.tt/LwuVAu

The image is adorable and the linked article is a great read!

a blinking cursor on an otherwise completely blank word document

red squiggles everywhere because your laptop doesn’t recognize any of the character names

an endless trek through thesaurus.com trying to figure out the word that’s on the tip of your tongue that you just can’t remember

typing a word, deleting it, 20 minutes pause while you try to come up with something better, then giving up and retyping the same word

doing a quick google for research purposes and then accidentally ending up 30 articles deep in wikipedia with a new found expertise on Polish trade practices during the 1800s

giving up halfway through the chapter and making PLACEHOLDERS IN ALL CAPS CUZ YOU CAN’T BE BOTHERED TO FIGURE THIS FUCKING PART OUT RIGHT NOW

deleting entire paragraphs

panicking and frantically hitting ctrl+z

an endless string of G’s because you passed out on your keyboard at 3 am

Okay, but I’ve actually considered streaming whilst writing. But then I realized all of the above and guessed that this would be hugely boring. xD

Seriously, married or not I reckon Charlie Weasley would be a riot at family gatherings. Just turning up, throwing Molly a casual “Wotcher Mum! Brought the kids, hope that okay!” And Molly turns round confused, sees what he’s talking about and - “Those are not ‘the kids’ Charlie, thOSE ARE TINY DRAGONS IN ONESIES!!!!!”

I’VE BEEN LAUGHING AT THIS FOR HOURS
